Reports
Review actual spending, income, budget performance, trends, comparisons, category drill-down, and CSV export.
Reports overview
Reports turns your recorded activity and monthly budget assignments into an overview you can inspect by This Month, Last Month, three months, six months, This Year, a Paycheck window, or a Custom date range. Summary cards show actual spending, actual income, recorded Planned assignments, and the largest spending category.
Category bars and detailed rows can open the underlying filtered Transactions list. You can also export the active category report as CSV.
Report tabs
- Overview combines category spending, Income vs Spending, Planned vs Spent, and changes from the previous equivalent period.
- Spending breaks actual activity down by category and group and lists the largest qualifying transactions.
- Pace shows cumulative spending pace and category burn rate for the selected period.
- Patterns compares recurring and flexible spending and shows merchant concentration.
- Trends shows actual historical spending in monthly buckets.
- Budget compares stored monthly Planned assignments with actual category spending.
- Income reports actual qualifying income and its monthly trend.
What the numbers mean
Reports describe actual qualifying transaction activity. Transfers and credit-card payments are excluded from spending so moving money or paying a card does not count a purchase twice. Categorized refunds offset spending and are not ordinary income. Reports include pending, cleared, and reconciled ledger activity.
Historical limitations
Historical Planned results depend on the monthly assignment records that exist in your budget. A custom range touching part of a month uses that month’s recorded assignment rather than inventing a daily plan history. A new budget or incomplete imported history may therefore have limited comparisons.
